A little about ourselves
At Workouts2u your trainer will be Alex Lane; a level 3 qualified professional in personal training. He has been working in fitness for many years, training clients of all ages, abilities and medical needs. Alex first became a Personal Trainer as he wanted to pass on his knowledge and experience. He loves to see others succeed in achieving their goals and is keen to push people to be their best.
Alex enjoys leading a healthy and active lifestyle including hobbies such as football, motorsport, squash, badminton, socializing and even just walking the dog. In his spare time Alex likes to travel, including bungee jumping and snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. He also has a love of converting VW vans, visiting theme parks and has even drove a McLaren!
Even with his busy lifestyle, Alex is deeply involved within the fitness industry and is always looking for ways to improve his knowledge and skills in order to help you reach your fitness goals. He holds qualifications in: A-Level Physical Education, Fitness Instructing, Personal Training Level 3, Kettlebells, Group Cycle (Spin), Small Group Training, Circuits and Bootcamp.
You can be assured that you will be receiving the best training you can find as our fitness instructor is registered with REPs; an independent, public register which recognises the qualifications and expertise of health-enhancing exercise professionals in the UK. Alex also holds the award for 'The Best Regional Personal Trainer' because of his continued success with clients.
At Workouts2u we take your safety seriously. Prior to exercise you will complete a health form and discuss any medical issues with Alex so he can adjust your workout routine accordingly. He is also fully trained in First Aid and is fully insured with a reputable company to give you peace of mind when training.
Alex works with a range of clients with very different reasons for wanting to take up exercise, from weight loss to muscle gain to cardio endurance. He prides himself on holding a personal relationship with each of his clients, meaning he cares deeply about seeing them succeed. Alex is friendly, approachable, patient and understanding; no problem is too big! As much as Alex is a professional trainer, he also strives to make each session fun and relaxed - one of the main reasons he has loyal clients who have been training with him for years!
